Animation after lunch

July 6, 2011

After lunch we made our own characters. I needed a bit of help with mine because it couldn’t stand up. It’s really hard to make a character because you have to make sure all the details are all right. It takes a long time to do that because you have to make sure the facial expressions are right. Then we did a video where two people interviewed everyone about what they are doing.

  1. There are some fantastically creative models on show here! I particularly like the little brown worm with fangs 🙂

They really put me in mind of Trapdoor – a TV show I watched as a kid. It used the same technique that I think you’re using – stop-frame animation with plasticene characters.
