Way back in March 4OQ visited Sarehole Mill. When we got back we worked with Fiona King from Birmingham REP theatre to create these radio plays. Finally they are available to the general public!
Each group began with the same introduction, and then wrote, rehearsed and performed their own radio plays based on the troubles that might have happened to the miller and his apprentice…

After lunch we made our own characters. I needed a bit of help with mine because it couldn’t stand up. It’s really hard to make a character because you have to make sure all the details are all right. It takes a long time to do that because you have to make sure the facial expressions are right. Then we did a video where two people interviewed everyone about what they are doing.

This morning we have been doing practice animations. We are going to build up to the proper animation by Friday. We had learnt you have to take nice and steady little movements, and you have to be careful in case the camera goes out of place. We have to save it to dropbox so we can share it and other people can see it.

Here is the photo for Mrs Skinner’s 100 word challenge this week.
Remember you can write anything you like- a description, a story of how this sculpture got there, or even a future story of what happens to it. Entries must be less than 100 words.
Post your entry as a comment on this post and I will pass it on to Mrs Skinner.

Four girls did a cake sale to raise money for Cancer Research. We made the cakes, brought them to school and then sold them. Year 6 loved them, year 5 liked the lemon cakes. The chocolate cake sold out in 5 minutes!
We raised over £41!
